Roger Simon has this clip of Rep. Ted Poe, R-TX speaking on the subject of NASA and (gasp) global warming:
This is the kind of thing that makes me nuts! On page one of the Oregonian is an article about snow: The science of snow by Joe Rojas-Burke. There in the fourth paragraph is the (gasp) global warming propaganda:
There was no white Christmas this year in the Portland area, where our chances are about 1 in 100, according to an Associated Press report based on National Climatic Data Center records from 1988-2005. And climate scientists predict significantly less snow for us in coming years as the planet’s warming climate tilts the Northwest’s precipitation more toward rain.
Then later on page A4 about the Midwest trying to dig out from the snow, Dinesh Ramde of the AP wrote, “The 14 inches of snow in Oklahoma City broke a record of 2.5 inches set back in 1914.” and this, “The previous record for Christmas Eve in Duluth, which has received more than 22 inches in two days, was 3 inches in 1893…”
Somebody needs to tell the Oregonian to get with the program and start questioning their propaganda.
