Getting Geared Up For Hillary

The American Patriot Award is given to “leaders who have strengthened America’s strategic interests and advanced global security. Hillary will receive her award November 14, 2013 at a gala dinner hosted by the NDU Foundation. The NDU Foundation celebrates not only the American spirit of patriotism, but the leadership qualities necessary to preserve and protect that spirit.

No mention of Benghazi, I suppose, or “What difference does it make? What difference… does… it… make?”

Pray for our country!

Are We A Heartbeat Away From Lehman Redux?

Jim Willie says there’s an overnight scramble for cash at Deutche Bank in Germany and failure would be Lehman bankruptcy times 5.

The important thing to keep in mind about Deutche Bank is that it won’t go down alone if it goes down at all. If it fails, it will take along with it 3,4,5,6 or 10, or 15 other banks! It will be 1 or 2 quickly, then a 3rd and 4th a few weeks later, another, then before you know it, all of Italy and their major banks would be kaput.

He goes on to say,

A bank failure contagion, that’s whats going to push gold way over $2,000/oz again.
Silver is going to be moving over $100 and gold is going over $5,000, I’m as certain of it as I am that the sun will rise in the east in the morning come January.

But We Knew This!

Former Ambassador: Benghazi “Stand Down” Order Came from Obama

Ann Wagner, a former US ambassador and current congresswoman from Missouri, was interviewed about what the protocol would be for a “stand down” order in the event of a consulate being under attack:

Bradley Manning Verdict

Interesting! “(Bradley) Manning was convicted of five espionage counts, five theft charges, a computer fraud charge and other military infractions.”

But NOT for aiding the enemy!

“The charge was the most serious of 21 counts. It carried a possible life sentence without parole.”

11 Intelligence Killing Foods

“…some foods are known to have a devastating effect on your brain functioning, and nutritionists advise us to consume them moderately in order to limit their negative impact.”

I’m stupid to eat the first on the list!

  • 1. Sugary Foods – that means that Jolly Rancher hard candies are out, as are Bighunks
  • 2. Alcohol
  • 3. Junk Food – Cheetos, large strawberry milk shakes
  • 4. Fried Foods – French fries, potato chips
  • 5. Processed Or Pre-Cooked Foods – TV dinners
  • 6. Very Salty Foods – Cheetos, Ruffles and Classics
  • 7. Grains, Except 100% Whole Grain
  • 8. Processed Proteins – Costco hot dogs
  • 9. Avoid Trans Fats At All Costs – I couldn’t identify a trans fat if my life depended on it. Is it time for ice cream?
  • 10. Artificial Sweeteners
  • 11. Nicotine

Why are Cheetos and Costco hot dogs out, not broccoli, lima beans, brussel sprouts, egg plant and mushrooms? Why can’t Pepperoni Pizza be a preferred food?

So Un-PC Humor!

The Mother of all Jihadist Jokes:

Two Middle East mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat’s milk.

The older of the two pulls a small folder out of her handbag and starts flipping through photos. They start reminiscing.

”This is my oldest son, Mujibar. He would have been 24 years old now.”

”Yes, I remember him as a baby.” says the other mother cheerfully.

“He’s a martyr now though.” the mother confides.

“Oh, so sad dear…” says the other.

”And this is my second son, Khalid. He would have been 21.”

”Oh, I remember him,” says the other happily, ”he had such curly hair when he was born.”

”He’s a martyr too…” says the mother quietly.

”Oh, gracious me…” says the other.

”And this is my third son. My baby. My beautiful Ahmed. He would have been 18”, she whispers.

“Yes,” says the friend enthusiastically, ”I remember when he first started school…”

”He’s a martyr also,” says the mother, with tears in her eyes.

After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photographs and, searching for the right words, says . . .

“They blow up so fast, don’t they?”

Speaking Of The NSA House Vote

A Berkeley-based nonprofit called MapLight analyzed the vote and compared it with political donations to House members at the request of Wired.

It found that the 217 who voted to allow the NSA to continue to constrict your liberty received an average of $41,635 in campaign contributions from from defense and intelligence industry sources, while those who stood up for privacy averaged $18,765.

Are we a nation of, by and for the corporation? You know the answer!

The NSA Scandal Keeps Getting Worse

Glenn Greenwald tells us that Eric Snowden was telling the truth and the NSA lied when Snowden claimed “…that those NSA programs allowed even low-level analysts to search the private emails and phone calls of Americans.” All and sub-contracter analyst needs is an email address or IP address and he can listen or see anything in the trillions of emails saved from every American. None of our laws restrict access to these files!

Congress should reconsider the NSA snooping restrictions that failed to pass in the House by 12 votes.

Since 9/11…

I could make a good case that 9/11 hurt us and hurt us bad and we have never recovered:
