Mountain scenery is viewed through one of the stored railcars between Enterprise and Joseph.
Instapundit directs us to the Ludwig von Mises website which reports that in Eastern Oregon there are 20 miles of lumber cars sitting on the siding.  The Wallowa County Chieftain reports 1,422 cars on the siding. The total dipped to 859 cars in May when construction picked up, but now its up to 1,422 and there’s room for 1.980 or 30 miles.
