Trinity Files Chapter 11
Trinity Carpet Brokers files Chapter 11. You can see from the map that it wasn’t a small operation. What struck me in the report in The Oregonian by Jeff Manning is how rapidly their sales fell and who owed them the most money.
Trinity’s revenues reflect the bust, going from $57.9 million in 2006 to $43 million in 2007 to just more than $13 million through the first six months of 2008, according to bankruptcy documents.
Two of the major receivables includes Lake Oswego-based Renaissance and D.R. Horton of Fort Worth, Texas.
One humorous note: Jeff Manning writes about Trinity’s “accountants receivables” — money due from its customers. LOL
