Chuck Hagel is Gone!

Last year, we noted in a story  from To The Point News Written by Caroline Glick

DOES OBAMA WANT IRAN TO HAVE NUKES?

“Obama appointed outspoken critics of the US-Israel alliance to key positions in his national security team. First and foremost in this arena was his appointment of Chuck Hagel to serve as defense secretary.

“The culmination of this long process of delegitimizing Israel as a warmongering, ungrateful ally and its supporters as turncoats who are forcing the US to endanger itself for the benefit of the Jewish state was the administration’s hysterical campaign against Israel and its supporters in the lead-up to Saturday’s signing ceremony in Geneva. Everyone, from the White House to Kerry, accused Israel and its supporters of trying to force the US to fight an unnecessary war.”

Well, now Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel is gone and Iran and Western nations failed to reach a final nuclear deal by Monday’s deadline. As a consequence, “Israel has issued a stark, public warning to its allies with a clear argument: Current proposals guarantee the perpetuation of a crisis, backing Israel into a corner from which military force against Iran provides the only logical exit.”

Who wanted Chuck hagel in the first place?

Julia Pierson, the director of the Secret Service, resigns

Julia Pierson, the director of the Secret Service, resigns

Julia Pierson, the director of the Secret Service, is resigning in the wake of several security breaches.

Ms. Pierson offered her resignation on Wednesday during a meeting with Jeh C. Johnson, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, the agency that oversees the Secret Service. The resignation came less than a day after lawmakers from both parties assailed Ms. Pierson’s leadership and said they feared for the lives of the president and others in the protection of the agency.

Holder To Resign

Eric Holder Jr., the nation’s first black U.S. attorney general, is preparing to announce his resignation Thursday after a tumultuous tenure marked by civil rights advances, national security threats, reforms to the criminal justice system and 5 1/2 years of fights with Republicans in Congress.

Couldn’t be happier!

Happy, Happy, Happy

“Kathleen Sebelius, the health and human services secretary, is resigning, ending a stormy five-year tenure marred by the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, the Affordable Care Act,” writes the NY Times.

Now maybe Oregon Governor Kitzhaber will follow suit.

White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler – Leaving

Whether or not it is an indication of potential legal troubles over Obama’s horizon is unclear, but as Politico reports, the White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, a Georgetown Law graduate who assumed office on June 30, 2011, “has told President Obama she plans to leave by the end of the year” and a search for her replacement has begun.

Bye, Janet!

From LATimes:

The LA Times reports that Janet Napolitano resigns from the Obama regime and head of Homeland Security.

A source close to Napolitano said, “I think she loves working for President Obama and serving the American people, but at the same time, this is a unique opportunity,” he said. (emphasis added)

If you believe the use of “but” in a sentence means that all that went before the but is a lie, then you can look at the resignation in a whole new light. I certainly appreciate all you’ve done for the American people, but you know what’s best for you.
