John Kerry, It is All About John Kerry!

John Kerry

John Kerry

John Kerry, he fought in Viet Nam, is an ass. The latest peace initiative was all about him and getting a Nobel Peace Prize, so says Ulsterman in DC Whispers. Imagine,

“I can forget that peace prize, right? What a g*damn mess this whole thing is.  He (Netanyahu) could give a sh*t about any of it.  He’s out of control. He’s a war monger…a war monger. Waging war is all he seems to care about.  It’s about keeping his own people terrified so he can remain Prime Minister. It’s an impossible situation because he’s being so…he won’t compromise a damn thing! He’s happy to see thousands, tens of thousands dead. You can’t deal with people like that.  What am I supposed to do with this?  If we don’t fix this thing, this is what I’m gonna be remembered for, and that’s not right. I don’t deserve this. I want this out of the news before September. We need this resolved.  It isn’t helping any of us. This needs to be put to bed – now.”

No, John Kerry, Netanyahu is all about keeping his people from being annihilated. You fail to understand that Hamas, Qater, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran want Israel destroyed.  If missiles were flying into the U.S. from Cuba, I hope you would destroy Cuba to protect us. But, you wouldn’t would you. We are being invaded at our southern border, but you and Obama could give a sh*t!

Trading Terrorists For A Traitor Is The VA Scandal On Steroids

When Private First Class Bowe Bergdahl, 23, walked away from his guard post at OP-Mest in Paktika province in eastern Afghanistan June 30, 2009, he left behind his rifle, helmet, flak jacket — and a note saying he’d become disillusioned with the Army.

“I am ashamed to be an American,” he wrote in an email. “The horror that is America is disgusting.”

Afghans in Yahya Khel, a village two miles away, said PFC Bergdahl asked for their help in getting in touch with the Taliban.

A Taliban deputy district commander in Paktika province told the London Sunday Times PFC Bergdahl taught him how to turn a mobile phone into a remote control for a roadside bomb.

Many in the Intelligence Community think PFC Bergdahl was an “active collaborator,” reported James Rosen of Fox News.

The White House had expected “near euphoria” to break out when the deal was announced, said Chuck Todd of NBC News.

It did – among the Taliban, not Americans. This was a “great victory,” said Taliban leader Mullah Omar.

Don’t be misled by the Obama spin machine!

Kerry Spokesman Stripped Of Silver Star

I posted a lot about Sen. Kerry when he was running for president. I contributed to the Swift Boat Vets so they could teach you the real facts about Sen. Kerry’s war record. The proudest moment was retelling the story of the Vietnam Vet who greeted Sen. Kerry when he visited the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall:

Ted Sampley, a former Green Beret who served two full tours in Vietnam, spotted Kerry and his Secret service detail at about 9:00 a.m. Monday morning at the Wall. Sampley walked up to Kerry, extended his hand and said, “Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here.”

Now the man who stood up at the Democratic convention and supported Kerry for President has been stripped of his silver star. “Wade Sanders is now in Federal prison, serving a 37-month sentence for possessing child pornography.” Apparently the two actions are unrelated!

The American Thinker has the story.

Sen. John Kerry Sued for Actions During Campaign!

From Human Events, Vietnam Vets File Lawsuit Against John Kerry by Michael P. Tremoglie. A lawsuit, filed in Philadelphia, claims that Senator John Kerry and Tony Podesta, Kerry’s Pennsylvania campaign manager, libeled, slandered, and caused financial harm to The Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation, Red, White, and Blue Productions, and Vietnam veteran and journalist Carlton Sherwood. The suit claims defendants sought to prevent the presentation of Sherwood’s documentary movie Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal before the 2004 presidential election.

This may be the first time in American history that a presidential candidate was sued for actions taken by him and his campaign during an election. It may also be the first time that an antiwar activist was sued, if only tangentially, for allegations made about American military personnel.

Themoglie says, “…the heroes of Vietnam are finally condemning the lies told about them during the war.” (emphasis added)

No Longer Shielded, A Terrible Decision

rand holman’s THE DAILY POLEMIC brings to mind how I was stunned at the SCOTUS decision, yesterday.

“The Supreme Court refused Monday to shield the news media from being sued for accurately reporting a politician’s false charges against a rival.”

Reporters will no longer be allowed to quote charges made by a public figures without risking libel charges. They must be able to prove the charges are false or true before quoting. Here’s the part that confuses me:

“Otherwise, they said, for example, the press could not have reported last year on the charges lodged against Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth because Kerry’s supporters said their charges were false.”

Does that mean there would have been no reporting of the charges, just because Kerry’s people said they were false? How will this work in practice and are we as bloggers vulnerable?

In The American Enterprise Online is an interview with John O’Neill of the Swift Boat Vets. At a May 4th press conference calling John Kerry Unfit to be Commander-in Chief, his group was shocked that the major media did no reporting of the event.

Our analysis after the press conference was that the three major networks, the New York Times, and the Washington Post would under no circumstances carry a story like ours, no matter how well documented.

issued a challenge to all the libs out there to name a single fact or accusation in the book “Unfit for Command” that has proven to be untrue.

Some have finally responded and he destroys their criticism. Have you read Cartoon Nazi blog? Have you read the “Unfit for Command” yet?

Better yet have you made a contribution to the Swift Boat Vets for Truth?

Sen. Kerry, Sign the Standard Form 180

Had dinner last night at a very nice restaurant (my first time) in Lake Oswego called Tucci”s. It was a wonderful experience, the food was very good and our waiter James was very nice to us all as we celebrated my wife’s birthday. I am not allowed to talk politics with our friends anymore, but I was goaded by the statement that Kerry has released all his military records and it is Bush that has been AWOL, yada, yada, yada…

Today I was told that the “Bush Bounce” was gone and that the race is all tied up again. You know, I don’t care if my friends vote for Kerry for legimate reasons, but I sure get tired of them reciting “facts” and suggesting that that is why they are voting the way they are (if we could vote today); or giving me stories that just are not true. CNN and CBS are hoping that Kerry will win so they do all they can to influence the electorate, including using a Pew Poll showing the results even and ignoring polls to the contrary.

The biggest lie: Kerry has released all his military records!

Navy Contradicts Kerry on Release of Military Records

(CNSNews.com) -The U.S. Navy released documents Wednesday contradicting
claims by Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry that all of his
available military records have been released.

The Navy, responding to a Freedom of Information Act request from the
legal watchdog group Judicial Watch, also referred interested parties to
Kerry’s campaign web site for government military documents.

Navy Personnel Command FOIA Officer Dave German wrote in an e-mail to
Judicial Watch that the Navy “withheld thirty-one pages of documents from
the responsive military personnel service records as we were not provided
a release authorization.”

A “release authorization” would have to come from Kerry filling out and
signing a Standard Form 180, something he has yet to do. A Standard Form
180 would authorize the complete release of all his military records. Judicial
Watch filed Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in August to obtain
Kerry’s military records.

The official U.S. Navy response was received by Judicial Watch on
Wednesday, the same day that Kerry told syndicated radio and MSNBC TV
host Don Imus that “We’ve posted my military records that they sent to me,
or were posted on my website. You can go to my website,
and all my — you know, the documents are there.”

When Imus pressed Kerry as to whether all of his documents were in fact
included on the campaign website, Kerry responded, “To the best of my
knowledge. I think some of the medical stuff may still be out there. We’re
trying to get it.

“We released everything that they (the Navy) initially sent me,” he added.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said the Navy’s correspondence
confirms that Kerry has not been forthright in releasing his military files.

Re: The Bush ANG Records

The Boston Globe today issued a story, based on newly released records, that charged George W Bush was AWOL from Guard Duty. Byron York has issued a rebuttal which I find credible.www.hillnews.com/york/090904.aspx

I’m writing about this because I served my country by being in the Army Reserve beginning in 1966, just like George W Bush. Some believe that only those who toured Vietnam served their country. My duty of Active Reserve lasted for six years and then inactive reserve for some unremembered time, just like George W Bush. I interrupted college for three months Basic training at Ft. Lewis and three months AIT at Ft. Ord. We were good troops, a cut above, but denigrated by our DI’s for avoiding Vietnam. Our active duty lasted 119 days! If we had served 120 consecutive days, we would have been eligible for GI Benefits. After our six months of active duty, we drilled one night each week and a weekend for 5 1/2 years. During that time we worried about being called up for Vietnam. I was 11Bravo, a grunt, a foot soldier. I know where I would have gone if activated. Several of my buddies in the Air force Reserve were called up and sent for a year to Korea. Like Kerry, my buddies and I served our country, just like George W Bush. We didn’t choose to go to Canada. I want this rebuttal on the record so we don’t forget that George W Bush is an honorable man. His records have been released. Kerry can authorize the release of all of his records, just like George W Bush!
