Where Are The Pro-Capitalism Movies

Lisa Fairfax asked an excellent question, “Is there no movie in which big business gets to be the saint or at least not the sinner?” Erik Gerding at Conglomerate Blog answered in his post titled “Pro-Business Movies.”
Gerding mentions BIG (1988), The Secret of My Success (1987), Tucker (1988 - hero gets pulverized), Baby Boom (1987 - miraculously prevails), Big Night (1996 - hero gets pulverized), Batman, Ironman (billionaire industrialist moonlights as superhero).
No one has made Atlas Shrugged, but Hollywood has made Che, Reds and plenty of movies knocking greedy, polluting, evil corporations. Russia made propaganda movie promoting their system, why don’t we educate our citizens on Capitalism and how it brought the world the greatest standard of living it had ever seen.

Off hand I can’t think of any modern day movies which are pro-capitalism; however, I recall at least one from the old black and white days, more of a documentary in its presentation showing how Pan American Airways succeeded in its quest for a global market. If memory serves, Pat O’Brian played the lead role. I couldn’t tell you the name of it without doing some kind of Google search.
I’m back, having done that Google search. It was China Clipper, and Pat O’Brien; spelling correction on his last name. The movie was made in 1936. I guess capitalism was still a priority then…
