Ducks As High As #14
Here we go again! Just like last year Oregon is ranked pre-season and just like last year after the first game has moved up:
AP Top 20 has the Ducks at 18.
USA Today’ Poll has the Ducks at 16
ESPN.com’s Power Rankings has the Ducks at 14.
The Ducks play Utah State next. Last year the aggies were 2-10. If any of the ranked teams above the Ducks lose and Oregon beats this weak team, the Ducks will move higher. The higher the ranking for the Ducks the more the fans believe that the Ducks are a number one team. Then the real Ducks in the last half of the season will show up and Ducks’ hopes will be dashed.

My son went to the Ducks-Huskies game.
He thought the Duck fans weren’t too bright.
The Huskies brought a huge band. When they played, the Duck fans booed them.
That’s understandable.
But when the the Huskies played the Duck fight song, the Duck fans still booed.
Why not cheer, and then when they finish your fight song, go back to booing.
Laurene, great to hear from you.
