Magma Plume Under Yellowstone

While we’ve read that geologists have used a vast array of seismographs to describe the magma pool or plume under Yellowstone, we have not seen the actual diagram of the plume until now.
The plume rises at a southeast angle from its origin 500 miles beneath the surface under western Montana, causing the swell that forms the Yellowstone Plateau, according to one of the paper’s authors, Dr. Robert Smith.
