Sunspots And Sea Surface Temperatures
Recently, referring to my post From October - 3rd coolest Ever!, 2009/11/18 at 11:09 AM, Mark commented, “You’re kidding right?” Well Mark here’s another post to ponder: in Little Ice Age II, The Sequel, Al Simmons and Doug L. Hoffman at The Resilieant Earth have a very interesting chart:

The chart correlates sunspot activity with sea surface temperature. First, sunspot activity picks up, then sea surface temperature rises. Since 2007, there have been NO sunspots! Would you expect sea surface temperatures to fall? I would!
Al Gore is in Portland today to speak to the faithful about (gasp) global warming. There will be protestors. We may want to pray for more hot air from our politicians, if sunspot activity doesn’t pick up soon.
