We Are Entering Cold Climate Era!

I have been saying for years that (gasp) Global warming was a hoax. Now NASA has finally admitted that we are in or entering a cold period that will last 20 to 30 years based on their solar observations.
The Space and Science Research Center (SSRC) announces today that the most recent data from NASA describing the unusual behavior of the Sun validates a nearly four year long quest by SSRC Director John L. Casey to convince the US government, the media, and the public that we are heading into a new cold climate era with 20 to 30 years of record setting cold weather.
Now will you deniers sell the believers of global warming some blankets. They will be trading in their Hawaiian shirts for down jackets and Muk luks!
Weather and climate are not the same thing.
According to NASA’s website:
“The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time and climate is how the atmosphere “behaves” over relatively long periods of time.”
and
“Rising global temperatures are expected to raise sea levels, and change precipitation and other local climate conditions.”

Further reading of NASA’s website explains how weather can be colder or warmer due to rising global temperatures and rising sea levels.
I am not familiar with John L Casey, but SSRC is not part of NASA. It is an independent research center.

Well, I can’t tell from your comments if you even read the info that I linked to. I don’t get your weather / climate argument or where your question comes from about SSRC and NASA. It’s clear to me that NASA is finally confirming Casey’s premise of four years ago. BTW, 20 to 30 years is not weather, but climate.
Yes, I did read the article. But I can’t seem to find the statement from NASA anywhere. When I do a google search, everything I have found so far is other blogs, etc that have pretty much the same article about SSRC saying NASA confirms everything Casey has been saying. I even went on NASA’s website and couldn’t find anything. Maybe I didn’t dig deep enough. Perhaps you can direct me to the correct place to find NASA’s actual statement. Thanks!

The “deniers” of global warming have said it is not man who caused global warming, but the sun. When everyone was moaning about global warming, Casey was arguing for the opposite based on the projected sun spot numbers. Now the latest NASA info has reduced sun spot estimates from a high of 145 to 59.
Yes, I read that too. In fact, I read it 3 times, to try to figure out what it was saying and how you came up with the following statement:

But don’t ask any of the NASA or NOAA scientists to agree with the end of global warming and the now confirmed start of the next solar hibernation or for that matter a cold climate change. That would be career suicide given the measures the current administration goes to in order to preserve the myth of manmade global warming.
In any case, decades of extreme cold weather always follow these hibernations of the Sun as the research shows going back 1,200 years or more. This next one has begun right on schedule, just as I predicted. We should therefore expect the same climate change to a long cold period just like it has done before. The last three record cold and long winters around the globe along with the lack of growth in the planet’s average temperature for the past twelve years, and a new long term downward trend in global temperatures are solid enough signals to prove that global warming ended as and when I predicted and that the Earth is rapidly proceeding into a long cold era.
I have to comment on your previous comment that you don’t get my weather/climate argument. I made that comment because people get confused with weather and climate. When there is snow in places like Las Vegas, or freezing temperatures in Florida, some people will say that is evidence that ‘global warming’ is not real. However, rising global temperatures will cause unusual weather, due to the changes in the sea levels and the temperature of the ocean. Some of that unusual weather will be snow in places that don’t usually get snow, and also warm weather in places that are usually cold. NASA’s website has some great information about it. BTW, I couldn’t find where they said climate change is NOT man made.
Now I have a question for you: Why is so important to believe that climate change is not man made?

My answer is that you inflate the effect of human activity and lose sight of the magnitude of nature. People used to believe that shooting arrow into the sky changed the weather. They still believe silly things. I posted this once:

OK, I have re-read the NASA stuff about sun spot numbers, as well as other NASA links about why we study the sun, etc. Nowhere have I found where it says NASA has admitted that we are in or entering a cold period that will last 20 to 30 years based on their solar observations. However, I see plenty of blogs referencing the same article you referenced. I wonder where SSRC Director John L Casey got this information.
I’m not saying nature does not have anything to do with it. Why can’t you admit that humans contribute to it?
And calling me nuts leaves me a little cold. Let’s not make this personal. We can talk issues without name calling.
Sandi, NASA is showing a sun spot cycle that only peaks at 59 and from 2009 to the next bottom is about 30 years. Casey is saying that NASA is finally agreeing with his premise.
What evidence do you have that humans contribute to global warming. We’ve had all the carbon dioxide pumped into the atmosphere by humans. Surely we’d see a rise in temps as the alarmists claim.
Nuts was part of the quote from an earlier article of mine. I use nuts just like the libs use nuts for tea partiers or deniers or birthers.
I would substitute illogical thinkers for nuts.
Casey got his information from NASA which has continued to revise downward the number of sunspots.

I really have no patience for anyone who buys into global warming. Initially, “An Inconvenient Truth” was persuasive, but the more I investigated, the more I came to see that it was filled with false science.
