Schwarzenegger orders minimum wage for state workers

UPDATE: Mish says the number is closer to 200,000 workers!
The State of California finds itself deep in a fiscal hole. They must cut back on spending and has chosen to cut state employee wages to the Federal minimum rate or $7.25 per hour. That will affect 37,000 employees.
Greece and Spain has had to deal with rioters over such tactics. Government used to be a place of secure employment albeit lower wages. Now all that had changed. Will Americans remain calm as they see the means to support their families drastically reduced?
