Stand-In for Obama At Inauguration?

We know that the oath of office was bumbled and had to be redone. Now we learn that the piece written by John Williams and played by Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and two colleagues, was pre-recorded and they faked it making us believe they were playing live.
Many think the speech given by President Obama was not up to the usual standards of The One. I’m wondering if that was the real Obama up there. Suppose that was a stand-in.

Looks like the organizers were using the lessons they learned from the Chinese Olympics.
At least they did’t replace the players with better-looking ones.
I completely understand them not wanting to bring their Strads out into the cold. Look at the NYT photo: Montero has long winter gloves on. [Who’s the sumo wrestler behind to the left?]
PS: If you haven’t heard Montero play, you’re missing a great pianist. Her specialty is improvisation. There are many clips on YouTube - it’s worth the wait.
[I’m trying to track down a story I heard on radio last night, about a press conference Obama had about closing Guantanamo. They played a sound clip; what we heard was a question being asked, then someone (maybe Gates) feeding an answer to Obama, who repeated it back to the reporters.]
I understand that Obama was wearing a bullet proof suit….I don’t think that the great one would allow a stand in on that “momentous occasion”….
Just as a matter of record, most every president is fitted with bullet proof armor, most of the time its woven into their suit material so as not to be visible. I suspect many high profile folks inside the beltway have the same tailor for when they have to stand in front of the public, a public which they no longer serve.
As far as star performers having pre-recorded music and faking the whole time; I think it fits well with the whole DC political spectrum.
