No Way! No Mosque At The World Trade Center! Got It!
Geoffrey Dunn writing at the Huffington Post is aflame over Sarah Palins Tweets;
Sarah Palin has sent the world of Twitter on fire this afternoon, with a series of incendiary Tweets about the proposed Islamic cultural center and mosque two blocks from the site of the World Trade Center.
Dunn concentrates more on Palin’s word usage than her message and even gets to dig her on what he thinks is her bigoted demeanor toward the proposed building of a mosque on the World Trade Center site. Let me make this clear for Dunn. I don’t give a good, blank damn about how she says it, just that she says No Mosque At The World Trade Center! If the Japanese to this day wanted to build some memorial or Shinto church on the site of the USS Arizona, where sailors’ bodies are still entombed, we all would have a collective fit. No Way! No Mosque At The World Trade Center! Got It!
BTW, I wrote a book review about “The Lion” by Nelson DeMille. The Lion is a particularly brutal Libyan killer who came to the U.S. to avenge the killing of his family by bombers sent by Pres. Reagan. Why don’t we try to build a Christian Church on the site of the bombing in the name of brotherhood and harmony? I’ll bet you can guess their response to our overture.
