Mamma Mia!

Last night, six of us, Sei Amici, went to see Mamma Mia! at the Fox and then walked across the park block to Pastini pasteria. I haven’t has as much fun in a movie in a long time. Through the whole movie, my feet were tapping and my hands were clapping to the songs of ABBA. Who cares if the critics gave it a D because of goofy camera angles or that Pierce Brosnan can’t sing. It was just plain fun. We all got a great deal of pleasure from the happiness, and the scenery is breathtaking. Oh, Mamma, you’ve gotta go!
And I can’t say enough about Pastini. The price is right, the food is wonderful, the service is very helpful and knowledgeable and the whole place is clean and bright. $112 for six and that includes two bottles of wine.
