Drugs and Money, Money and Drugs!
WorldNetDaily has a story Mexican commandos new threat on border. It seems, to help fight the drug war on the US/Mexico border, the US trained an elite group of Mexican commandos. Now those commandos, now called Los Zetas, have switched sides and are working for the drug smugglers.

Do we have any evidence that the war to keep drugs out of the US is working? Do we as the providers of the money have a right to demand accountability? I suspect the money has been wasted! I think it's time to consider legalization, because it's about the money, ours and the profits that are made by the drug runners.There are reports of the commandos making cross-border runs into U.S. territory in military-style vehicles, armed with automatic weapons.

There are lots of acts any of us individually may oppose, including the ingestion of substances we individually might decide are immoral or fattening.
We know, if we're rational, we don't have the moral or constitutional right to deny by force those substances to others, except, perhaps, our own children.
And, if we are rational, we also realize there is no gain to the country, to the society, or to the component individuals in the so-called War on Some Drugs.
That war has cost countless lives and has merely made the sale of drugs more profitable.
It is a "war" that can never be won, but it can cost even more money and even more lives than the apparent quagmire of Iraq. And with even less justification.
Congratulations for your conclusion. You are, to repeat, brave and intelligent.
