Isn’t this how Johnson conducted the war in Vietnam?
…the troop numbers (in Afghanistan) under the narrowed scenario probably would be lower than McChrystal’s preference, at least at the outset.

I listened to Obama’s explanation as to why he attended the arrival of fallen soldiers the other night; basically saying he needed to more fully understand the loss. What a crock!
I think the generals should make the decision….
